     Export duties on scrap – Changes in India and in PakistanWe have been informed that the Indian government has suppressed the 15% export duty on ferrous scrap. Here are the changes in the rates of export duty as from June 13, 2008 for a large number of steel/ ferrous products.In Pakistan the federal board revenue has imposed a 25% duty on the exports of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including scrap.See here for further information....
