2009 world recovered paper statistics now available

At the end of each year, BIR traditionally publishes statistics on the world recovered paper market, which are compiled by Giampiero Magnaghi, former President of the BIR Paper Division.

We would like to draw your attention to the figures on 2009 which are accessible on the BIR website in the commodity section dedicated to Paper.

The texts and tables provide a summary of developments within the recovered paper sector during 2009. Although some figures have been the subject of modification by official sources and, in some cases, to consistent change (particularly with respect to the Far East), the trends are reasonably reliable.
