IMPORTANT! - AQSIQ Renewal Application for licences expiring end of 2014

Dear BIR Member,

Please check if your AQSIQ licence expires on 31 December 2014. If this is the case, you must apply for renewal before 30 September 2014.

In 2014, the AQSIQ licences (valid for 3 years) of about 500 overseas suppliers will expire and it is mandatory to apply for renewal 90 days prior to the expiration date. Companies failing to do so will see their licences cancelled after expiration and will be disallowed from exporting to mainland China.
We urge our members to follow the instructions posted on the BIR website, Members Only – Legislation – China (the 2013 procedure still applies).
