Become a Friend of the Global Recycling Foundation and join our initiatives for GRD 2019!

As many of you may be aware, our President, Mr Baxi, launched the Global Recycling Foundation at the Conference in London last October.  The Foundation, formed by BIR but run as an independent organisation, will help promote and support the global recycling industry in its mission to showcase the crucial role of recycling in preserving our planet’s future. This is a direct result of the success of Global Recycling Day 2018. Global Recycling Day 2019 will be the biggest activity supported by the Foundation.

Plans for Global Recycling Day 2019 are well under way, with a focus on Youth and Innovation and some exciting new initiatives and partnerships taking shape.  In 2019 we hope even more of you, our members can get involved, whether hosting your own events, joining in on social media or working in your local communities.  This is a day for the whole world to recognise the important work the recycling industry does to preserve and reuse our resources.   So keep an eye on these newsletters and the websites of BIR and the Global Recycling Foundation to keep up to date.
 
For those of you who would like to get more directly involved with us, and align your businesses to Global Recycling Day 2019 in particular, and reach a global audience with our message of “resource not waste”, we have put together two donor packages, one specifically for you our members.
 
The first is an invitation to become an inaugural Friend of the Foundation, and offers you exposure across the Global Recycling Foundation and Global Recycling Day assets.   The second is a chance to become a Headline Sponsor.  This is a more significant investment, but also gives you a unique opportunity to really get involved with these world-important initiatives.
