BIR releases Annual Report 2014

The Bureau of International Recycling is publishing its 2014 Annual Report, which was introduced to the BIR membership during the Annual General Assembly in Dubai on 19 May 2015.

The annual report gives a unique overview of the most important developments on seven different commodity markets during 2014, and provides a wealth of data regarding material flows, prices and future trends. Moreover, the BIR commodity divisions and committees highlight their actions on behalf of their respective industry segment. Important trade and environmental issues are covered in the reports of the International Environment Council and the International Trade Council. Two case studies provide a deeper insight into the scope of a true international trade association and the importance of shipping for the global recycling business.
