Ferrous Division: Message from Bill Schmiedel regarding Andrey Moiseenko

It is with deep sadness that I report the recent passing of my colleague on the BIR Ferrous Board Andrey Moiseenko.  Andrey was a member of the Ferrous Board since 2010 and contributed his excellent knowledge of the ferrous market situation in Russia and Ukraine.  Andrey and his company Ukrmet Ltd worked diligently with the Ukrainian Metal Scrap Association to help draft regulations in the steel recycling sector which was one of the many contributions throughout his career.

I feel I can speak for all that we wish to express our sincere condolences to his family during this terrible time.

He will be missed by all.
