Mr Larry Sax

BIR is very sad to share with its members the news regarding the passing of Mr Larry Sax, a veteran of the recycling industry, who passed away in Ontario, Canada, mid-December 2013 aged 80.

During the many years of activity in recycling, he recognised the importance of being part of a strong business network. Larry joined BIR in the 80ies and later became very active on the board of the BIR Non-Ferrous Metals Division, which honoured his commitment by appointing him divisional President in 1992. During his 6-year tenure he positively impacted not only the development of the Division but also of BIR as a whole.
