Important Update on AQSIQ Licence Renewals for Overseas Suppliers

Most overseas suppliers whose AQSIQ licence expired on 31 December 2013 passed the verification and received the AQSIQ approval before expiration of the deadline. However,  there is still a certain number of companies who have not received a ‘hard copy’ of their licences although their renewal application was formally granted. Some shipments of these companies are already underway or even have reached a Chinese port.

BIR has been informed that AQSIQ is offering help to these companies, under the condition that they have passed the verification and received the approval of the ECIQ system.  They should fax or email a “description of the shipment moving to and/or arrived in China” to AQSIQ , stating:

• AQSIQ licence number
• Company name
• B/L number
• Arrival date and port of discharge
• Company seal
