I would like to congratulate wholeheartedly the Non-Ferrous Metals Division on the incredible achievement of having published 100 monthly issues of the BIR Non-Ferrous Metals World Mirror. This publication is highly appreciated by our members and the trade press and, together with the Paper Mirror, has paved the way for the creation of BIR’s “Statistical Observatory”.

My special thanks go to all divisional board members who, over the years, have dedicated their time and expertise to providing a unique insight into their home country/continent, and thus creating a unique snapshot of the non-ferrous metals markets worldwide.
