Excellent registration score for BIR’s upcoming World Recycling Convention (Autumn Round-Table Sessions)

Registrations for the BIR Autumn Round-Table Sessions are coming in at a steady pace ever since online registration opened at the end of July, going already beyond the 500-participants mark. Bookings are likely to further accelerate as businesses have just returned to a faster pace after the summer break while the deadline for the early-bird discount for BIR members is approaching fast (20 September 2012).

The pre-booked room allotment at the Princesa Sofia hotel is already sold out, but the supporting hotels chosen by BIR offer excellent accommodation alternatives since they lie within walking distance of the convention venue (Hotel Hilton Barcelona and Hotel Juan Carlos I).

So far, the convention programme foresees interesting guest speakers such as Stemcor’s Executive Chairman Ralph Oppenheimer at the Ferrous Division plenary meeting and Norberto Vidana of international aluminium components producer Nemak at the Non-Ferrous Metals Division .

More detailed information on further programmes and additional guest speakers will be sent out in the coming weeks.
