BIR Ferrous Division reactivates World Mirror

The Board of the BIR Ferrous Division has decided to reactivate the publication of regular market reports, a project that had been dormant since 2005, and issues the first edition of BIR World Mirroron Ferrous Metals.

Divisional President Christian Rubach stressed the importance to provide BIR members with a regular overview of the worldwide scrap markets. The Ferrous Mirror will be published three to four times a year, of which two issues will be based on the regional market reports given by the Ferrous Board members during BIR conventions.

BIR is the only international organisation that issues World Mirrors on Ferrous Metals, Non-Ferrous Metals, Stainless Steel & Special Alloys, Paper and Textiles.
