To all BIR Members in the UK - Global Recycling Day - London hosts key event in Carnaby Street - Come and join the party!

Dear BIR Member,

As I am sure you are aware, the world’s first Global Recycling Day is almost upon us - launching in cities across the world this Sunday, 18 March.

I am delighted to say that London will host one of our key events, as we will be staging a “Recycling Experience Pop-Up” in the heart of London’s fashion scene - Carnaby Street. This is with thanks to Westminster City Council and The Shaftesbury Estate, who have helped make this possible.

We will be showcasing the scale of recycling, with giant bales on display, inviting the public to make recycling pledges,  take selfies with our team and sign our Global Recycling Day Petition - aimed at getting the Day recognised by the UN.  We will also have one or two freebies to give away!

This event is being made even more important as our President Mr Ranjit Baxi will be there to join in the celebrations.

We will be located where Carnaby Street meets Marlborough Street, and would love it if you could join us from 12.30.  If you could be part of our official Global Recycling Day launch photo - even better!

Please do let Sophy Norris know if you can attend - either emailing on sophy.norris@flagshipcondilting.co.uk or text her on 07930 385 849.

We look forward to seeing you either on Carnaby Street or on social media - do join in on #GlobalRecyclingDay.

Thank you for your support!
